why deviating pays

Wed Sep 6, 2006, 10:32 AM
well, i just recieved a message from someone asking if i would be willing to do two pieces under commission... and my reply... hell's yeah.

so, not to be portentous or resounding, but if you are interested in a commission feel free to let me know.

the price of the work will be directly related to the amount of time and energy that goes into the piece, as well as the medium (cost of supplies), which can all be worked out through minor negotiations.

all i would need... if you live in brooklyn, ny i would greatly welcome anyone that would be interested in sitting for me, and posing for the work directly. obviously that is not the most practical option, but the most empowering to the artwork. if you have a digital or traditional photo that you would like to have turned into a piece, contact me and i will give you a recieving email account and will work directly from your stock photo.

the commissions i just recieved is for christmas presents, and you must realize that i am a single person, so it will take some time to complete each piece. to ensure that each commission is to the best of my ability, and within my time frame i will prefer to work in scales near 9x12 or smaller, but will definately be willing to work larger for additional cost (higher costs-takes more time).

also, if I work from a photo, you can specifically request changes (additions and abstractions). as you can see from my deviations, i am not exactly a sitting down portraits kind of artist.

thanks and if you are interested, please let me know.

Hey Aaron! Fancy meeting you here ;P. How's life? I wish I could have made it down to Ohio this summer- it sounded like a good time (and with better weather- it was shit up here). Maybe next time >.> At least I have your username now :D.

i know man, its been years... but i must say i am psyched to see your work online... we have a little shrine to the bethany morgan animal paintings at the house (though you have gotten my mom on the kick of trying to get me to paint like you). if only i could. i also heard from your mom that you are trying to get into vet school. good luck on that, she said it's pretty hard to get into, but you know what they say - the harder something is, the greater the payoff in the end...
